Student Achievements

Georgia Wassall

An absolutely brilliant achievement this week by Georgia Wassall, Y12, who ran 4th in the 800m final at the World Youth Championship in the Ukraine, with a time of 2.04. It is an outstanding result even to be in the finals at this level. Georgia had previously won 3 Gold Medals at the Australian Junior Youth Athletics Championships earlier this year.

Special recognition must be given to Georgia as not only is she competing so well at such an elite level, but she is also balancing her responsibilities as Head Girl, with preparation for her HSC exams. We are very proud of you, Georgia.

Sami Danckert

Sami Danckert from Yr 12 survived chilly Canberra the last two weeks to help the NSW 18 Womens Hockey team win the National Championship! The final was another close battle against Queensland with the NSW girls staying strong to win 2-1. A very exciting fortnight. Congratulations Sami!

Lucinda Incoll

Congratulations to Lucinda Incoll of 4J who competed in the Sydney Eisteddfod in 10/u hip hop during the school holidays. Lucinda achieved 2nd place which is a fantastic effort. Well done, Lucinda!

Toby Burns

During the school holidays, Toby Burns of 2H represented the Central Coast in Tee Ball, playing in the U/10 'Coasties' team. The 'Coasties' played in a carnival at Ingleburn called the Westies Cup and won 4 out of the 5 games played. Well done to Toby and the team on this terrific result!

Georgia Warren

Well done to Georgia Warren of Y7 who ran the 12km course in the Bay to Bay fun run in June. Georgia ran a time of 1hr and 2 minutes, giving her an impressive 3rd place in the 12-15 years age group. Great effort, Georgia!
