Spring Fair

The Spring Fair and Art Show are only a couple of weeks away. We are seeking your support in order to make it a fun and exciting event. Support can come in many forms –

  • Donations of items for prizes, raffles and sales on the day
  • Purchasing your tickets for the fantastic Art Show Opening Night
  • Spending a couple of hours on a stall to keep things running on the day
  • Coming along and sharing all the effort put into getting this weekend event together.

You will find the next Spring flyer in your child's diary or you can  download a copy.

You may also receive other flyers from various Year Parent Reps requesting support for specific stalls, like our Wine Auction, Cakes, and Sweets stalls.

Please remember drop offs are on Friday mornings in the Top Carpark – please help out as best you can.

Thanks again to everyone.

CCGS Fathers and Children Camp

It’s on again, the traditional annual Fathers’ & Children’s Camp. It will be held this year on the weekend of 22nd, 23rd & 24thNovember at the Sports & Recreation Centre at Point Wolstonecroft on Lake Macquarie, just 45 minutes north of the school. It is a great opportunity for children and their fathers to spend a memorable weekend away together.

There will be plenty of activities that both girls and boys of all ages will enjoy.

The experience of going on a camp like this is particularly special for the younger kids since the first “big” camp they go to with the school is in Year 3. It’s also a good chance for fathers to build or maintain contacts with other fathers in the school – for some of us there aren’t many other chances to do this!

Fliers will come home this week with your children or you can download a copy of the flyer.

Register online for the CCGS Fathers and Children Camp (registration opens on 19 August 2013 at 3.00pm). Be quick to register before you miss out; places will go fast.

Enquiries can be made via the email on ccgsfatherscamp@gmail.com

CCGS Fathers and Children Junior School Breakfast

This year’s breakfast will be a casual event starting at 7:00am on Friday 6th September with a light breakfast and live musical accompaniment. Special guests Laurie McKinna and Paul Anderson (Mayor and GM of Gosford Council) will provide entertainment!

The event wraps up with a tour by your children of some of the school facilities and an opportunity to visit your child’s classroom to see their treasured pieces of work.

This is a great opportunity to connect and engage with not only your children and our school and also with other fathers with whom you may not have seen in a while. The cost is $10 per father and $5 per child. Flyers will go home this week with your children or you can download a copy of the flyer.
